As much as I enjoy big weddings, there’s something very special about being a wedding photographer for a small, intimate wedding. Scott emailed me early last week and told me that his plan was to propose to Leah on Thursday night and they were going to get married on Friday. They had discussed a small wedding before, but there was a small chance she would want a more traditional engagement and wedding. It wasn’t until Friday morning that I got the final go ahead!

They brought a few friends along to fill the important roles – an officiant, a witness and a musician – and were married on a beautiful winter day at the DC War Memorial.
