Leslie and Jon had one of the best weddings of the year, hands down! They were so easy-going and they included some unique elements that I hadn’t seen before, like a champagne tower. In an awesome twist on wedding tradition, Leslie chose her grandmother to be her “flower girl.” The smile on her face as she walked down the aisle was priceless!
After some getting ready photos at the Grand Hyatt, we headed to Constitution Gardens for their first look. The Gardens provided some great views of the Washington Monument and beautiful weeping-willow trees that we used for some fun portraits. The rest of the wedding was at the always stunning Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Headquarters. DAR is so elegant that it needs little in the way of decorating, but EMT lighting created a warm and inviting mood in the dining room. Dancing was under the portico, where the always energetic hora was a highlight!
