How do you describe your “style”?
Clean and classic, but ideally it’s not my style that comes through – it should be the couple’s.

What keeps you passionate about weddings?
Reading lots of blogs and magazines as well as spending time with my clients. I get really excited to see how in love our engaged couples are.

Are you seeing any trends emerging in 2013?
More non-traditional wedding receptions and the return of the destination wedding. This year we are working in Gibson Island, Aspen and Jamaica.

Do you have any specific advice for couples holding destination weddings when it comes to choosing their vendors?
Read local blogs, ask non-competing vendors (for example, ask the photographers who the best florists are) and then ask for and check references.

What is one piece of advice that you like to give couples?
Relax and keep things in perceptive. It’s just a party, we’re not curing cancer.

Outside of weddings, what brings you joy?
My husband and my 2 kids (3.5 years and 16 months) as well as travel and cooking.
