How do you describe your “style”?
I am a true cancer baby. I pray that my spiritual style feels like home — pleasant, safe and welcoming. I want anyone entering my space to feel protected and loved. When it comes to everything else, I believe that my style is classic, modern and timeless.

What keeps you passionate about weddings?
In this crazy world of “frenemies” and mean behavior in the media, on the internet and on reality shows, I take refuge in the fact that I work with clients who are in love. Nothing is perfect, but I am grateful that their primary focus is their love for each other.

Are you seeing any trends emerging in 2013?
I think that formal, elegant weddings are making a comeback. So are elegant wedding gowns. In 2013, wedding gowns are “all about the stunning back.” And, I see more and more couples holding multiple weddings to accommodate families and traditions.

What is one piece of advice that you like to give couples?
First and foremost, remember that you love each other. Your wedding is a spiritual promise that you are making to God, the universe and each other. Everything else is secondary.

Outside of weddings, what brings you joy?
My family — My husband, son, dad and siblings. I would be nothing without them.
